In-Person Ordering Process.
Our in-person ordering process gives you and your pet the advantage of hands-on expertise and personal attention. From your initial evaluation and custom casting to final fitting and training, we guide you through every step to ensure a perfect fit, optimal function, and a smooth experience. Whether you're ready to get started or exploring your options, we’re here to help—one step at a time.
Step 1 - Referral Form from Your Vet
Before we can begin, we require a referral form from your veterinarian. This ensures we have your animal’s full medical background and can tailor our approach based on their specific diagnosis and mobility goals.
Step 2 - EMAIL to Schedule Your Appointment
Once you have your referral, send us an email attaching the referral form to book your appointment at our Stafford, Texas clinic. During this visit, we’ll perform a full evaluation and, if appropriate, take a mold of the limb or joint for a custom device.
If your pet requires sedation for the casting procedure or has a splint or cast in place, we will need to make special arrangements

If you’re unsure whether your pet needs an orthotic or prosthetic device, you can request a consultation, either online or in person, for $150. We’ll assess your pet’s condition and help you decide if a device is the right choice. If you order a brace within three weeks of your consultation, we will apply the consult fee toward the price of the device.
Step 3 - In-Clinic Casting
(if sedation is not needed and the area to be molded is free of splints or casts)
During your visit, we’ll perform the casting procedure to create a precise mold of your pet’s limb—unless sedation is required or the area to be molded has a splint or cast covering it, in which case we’ll coordinate with your vet. This step is crucial to ensure a perfect custom fit.
Step 4 - Choose Your Design & Submit Payment
After your pet’s casting, we will ask you to submit payment for the device in full before we begin fabrication. Because each device is made specifically for your animal, they are nonrefundable. We will also ask you to choose your top 3 colors or patterns for the device. Below is the link that will take you to the webpage with color options.
Step 5 - Fabrication
(3–4 Weeks)
Our team will custom-build your pet’s orthotic or prosthetic using durable, medical-grade materials. This process typically takes 3 to 4 weeks to ensure accuracy, comfort, and function.
Step 6 - Delivery & Fitting at Our Clinic
When your device is ready, you’ll return to our Stafford clinic for delivery and fitting. We’ll ensure proper alignment, function, and comfort—making any final adjustments if needed.
Step 7 - Fit Review, Training & Q&A
We’ll walk you through how to put the device on and take it off, go over the recommended wear schedule, and make sure you’re confident using it. We’ll also answer any questions you have before you leave.
